Arts

Art is a way of life and artists are the pillars of the nation. If given right recognition and better opportunities, the young generation can prosper. Everyone should be able to do what they love doing, to have their passion give them the future they deserve. Art is the representation of a country’s culture, traditions, and histories. An artist is a builder of the nation. It places the pieces of the country into a canvas and paints it with the brightest of colours required. Artists, however, are underrated and left hanging. This is where this foundation comes to rescue. Kalu Kumale being an artist known for his valuable works was not given the recognition he deserved, let alone the motivation he required. Feeding him and his family through his art was a challenging work for him. he could not live his life doing the work he did and enjoyed. He was talented from an incredibly early age, the first person to jump his way from clay to sculptures. He was economically backward and so were the artists all around. Not everyone in life is passionate about the things they do. If asked around, most of the people are living the life they are supposed to be living, not the one they want to be living. It doesn’t seem fair to them, to be living a life they do not prefer over fulfilling their dreams. Kalu Kumale was the person who had the courage to follow his dreams and his passions, that is the person he is, the one who has faith in what he does and wants everyone to follow their own. And therefore, he focuses on Art sector through his Foundation.
