In rural areas, more than the diseases, the lack of awareness tends to kill people. There are still substantial number of people dying every year due to lack of health facilities. They believe in Jhakris, and they do not feel the need of a doctor, they believe whatever it is that they suffer from, medical professionals cannot cure them. They still live in the superstition that by merely some tricks they will be cured, and hospitals are waste of money as well as time. They are determined in their faith of Jhakris and their lack of faith in doctors. They are scared of visiting hospitals because they have lived their entire lives believing everything wrong about them. The female reproductive health is a very vital issue. Today in this century, there still are considerable number of women losing their life due to reproductive issues. Even in today’s world, women are ashamed of Gynaecologist. They still feel the need to hide when it comes to having themselves check. Women are still not clear about menstrual hygiene. They still have the same old practices when it comes to their monthly ritual. Such unawareness is the cause of so many deaths that follows. They say, ‘Health is Wealth’ and we all know it to be true because without sound and prosperous health, there is not anything we can do. A healthy person can do his/her best for the development of the country. Health is significant to every individual who suffer from it and their family to live a sound and happy life. Health is a delicate issue that should be tackled carefully. Having that very notion, this Foundation brings the idea of helping the deprived ones and to outdo the lack of awareness that overshadows people about going to doctors and having the proper treatment. It may not be of immense help but just helping some of the people with their health-related issues would be something that can change their life and ensure them of a happy life ahead.
